Day 01 – Arrival in Delhi
Arrival at Delhi International Airport, traditional welcome and transfer to hotel.
After rest, enjoy a gentle introduction to India with a panoramic drive through New Delhi designed during the British Raj. Pass Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House), Parliament House and ceremonial Rajpath boulevard. Stop at India Gate war memorial and learn about India’s colonial and modern history.
Evening at leisure to recover from travel.

Day 02 – Old & New Delhi Sightseeing
Morning exploration of Old Delhi beginning at Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. Walk through Chandni Chowk’s historic lanes filled with spice traders, traditional bakeries and centuries-old shops.
Continue to Raj Ghat, memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.
Afternoon visit to Humayun’s Tomb, an architectural precursor to the Taj Mahal, followed by Qutub Minar complex showcasing early Indo-Islamic craftsmanship. Drive through colonial New Delhi avenues reflecting British-era urban planning. On the way to hotel visit one of the Sikh temple and witness the prayer ceremony and rituals.

Day 03 – Delhi – Jaipur Distance: 280 km | Approx. 5–6 hrs drive
Drive to Jaipur through rural northern India observing agricultural life and village scenes.
Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Later explore Jaipur’s vibrant artisan areas known for textiles, block printing and gemstones.
Introduction to Rajasthan’s royal heritage and craftsmanship traditions.
Unique Experience: Evening attend aarti (prayer) ceremony with locals at one of the Hindu temple.

Day 04 – Jaipur Sightseeing
Excursion to Amber Fort located on a hilltop overlooking Maota Lake. Explore royal halls, courtyards and the Mirror Palace while learning about Rajput history.
Return to city to visit City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar Observatory (UNESCO site). Photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal façade.
Walk through traditional bazaars observing local artisans at work.

Day 05 – Jaipur – Agra Distance: 240 km | Approx. 5 hrs drive
Morning drive to Agra.
Upon arrival directly visit the Taj Mahal, India’s most celebrated monument, built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a tribute to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Your guide explains symbolism, architecture and marble inlay craftsmanship.
Continue to Agra Fort, the grand Mughal fortress where emperors ruled their vast empire.
Later check-in at hotel.

Day 06 – Agra – Delhi – Flight to Guwahati Distance: Agra–Delhi 210 km | Approx. 4 hrs drive + flight
After breakfast drive to Delhi airport.
Flight to Guwahati, gateway to Northeast India.

Day 07 – Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park Distance: 220 km | Approx. 5 hrs drive
Drive through scenic Assam countryside with bamboo villages, rice paddies and tea plantations.
Arrival at Kaziranga National Park, UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for the endangered one-horned rhinoceros.

Day 08 – Kaziranga National Park Safaris
Early morning elephant or jeep safari into Kaziranga’s grasslands searching for rhinos, wild buffalo, elephants and abundant birdlife.

Afternoon jeep safari in another range of the park offering different ecosystems and wildlife viewing opportunities.

Day 09 – Kaziranga – Assam Tea Estate Distance: 95 km | Approx. 2–3 hrs drive

Guided walk through tea gardens explaining cultivation, plucking and history of Assam tea.

Day 11 – Tea Estate – Majuli River Island Distance: 150 km drive + ferry crossing
Drive to Brahmaputra River and ferry crossing to Majuli, the world’s largest inhabited river island.
Visit Vaishnavite monasteries (Satras) preserving spiritual traditions, classical dance and manuscript art.
Explore artisan villages famous for mask-making used in religious performances.
Unique Experience: Mask-making workshop interaction with local craftsmen.

Day 12 – Majuli – Guwahati Distance: 170 km drive + ferry crossing
Morning ferry return followed by drive to Guwahati.

Day 13 – Guwahati – Delhi by flight
