Day 1 – Arrival in Siem Reap | Blessings & Khmer Welcome Ritual
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be warmly welcomed by your local guide and transferred to the hotel (approx. 50 km / 1 hr from airport depending on flight arrival terminal). After check-in and rest, begin a gentle introduction to Cambodia’s spiritual heritage.
In the afternoon, visit Wat Preah Prom Rath, one of the city’s oldest monasteries. Here, participate in a traditional monk blessing ceremony, where monks chant sacred Pali prayers for protection, prosperity, and safe travels — a deeply spiritual Khmer tradition.
