Day 1 Arrive Colombo Airport by international flight.

           Colombo – Negombo Distance: 12 km | Drive time: 30 minutes

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you are warmly welcomed by your chauffeur-guide and transferred to the nearby coastal town of Negombo. This short drive allows you to settle in comfortably after your international flight. The rest of the day is kept free to relax. You may choose to walk along the beach, enjoy the sea breeze, or simply unwind at your hotel. In the evening, watching the fishing boats return to shore offers a gentle first impression of Sri Lanka’s coastal life. Overnight in Negombo.


Day 2 Negombo – Anuradhapura (Ancient Spiritual Capital) Distance: 170 km | Drive time: 4.5–5 hours

After breakfast, you journey north through changing landscapes of coconut plantations, dry-zone forests, and rural villages to reach Anuradhapura. This sacred city is the spiritual heart of Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, you visit the revered Sri Maha Bodhi, the world’s oldest documented living tree, and explore ancient stupas and monastery ruins where monks still reside. Day 3 Anuradhapura – Village Life & Pottery Experience

Today is dedicated to slow, immersive experiences. You visit a nearby village where life follows age-old rhythms. Here, you participate in a hands-on pottery session guided by a local artisan, shaping clay using traditional methods passed down through generations. This is followed by a simple village lunch prepared using local ingredients and traditional techniques. Day 4 Anuradhapura – Sigiriya Distance: 80 km | Drive time: 2–2.5 hours

After breakfast, you drive to Sigiriya, located in the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. En route, you pass small villages, tanks, and open countryside. On arrival, the remainder of the day is at leisure. You may explore the village, visit a local handicraft or art workshop, or simply enjoy views of the iconic Sigiriya Rock rising dramatically from the plains, especially beautiful at sunset. Day 5 Sigiriya – Rock Fortress, Tuk-Tuk Ride & Cooking Experience

Early in the morning, you visit the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress (optional climb), exploring its ancient gardens, frescoes, and panoramic views from the summit. Later, you enjoy a tuk-tuk ride through surrounding villages, passing paddy fields, irrigation canals, and rural homes. This leads to an interactive Sri Lankan cooking demonstration in a village setting, where you learn to prepare traditional dishes using fresh spices and clay pots, followed by lunch. Day 6 Sigiriya – Kandy Distance: 90 km | Drive time: 3 hours

This morning, you travel south into the hills to reach Kandy, once the last royal capital of Sri Lanka. The drive offers scenic views and cooler temperatures. In the afternoon, you visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. As evening approaches, you may enjoy a leisurely walk around Kandy Lake or attend a traditional cultural dance performance. Overnight in Kandy.


Day 7 Kandy – Buddhist Monastery & Reflection

Today offers a deeply spiritual experience. After breakfast, you visit a serene forest monastery near Kandy, where you meet a resident monk for a personal session. During this interaction, you learn about Buddhist philosophy, mindfulness, and monastic life, followed by a quiet meditation session in natural surroundings. Day 8 Kandy – Ella (Scenic Train Journey)  Distance: By train | Journey time: approx. 6 hours

You board one of the world’s most scenic train journeys, traveling through misty mountains, tea plantations, waterfalls, and charming hill-country villages en route to Ella. The slow pace of the train allows you to truly absorb the beauty of Sri Lanka’s highlands. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Ella. Day 9 Ella – Yala National Park  Distance: 130 km | Drive time: 3.5 hours

In the morning, you explore Ella’s highlights, such as Little Adam’s Peak or the iconic Nine Arches Bridge. Later, you drive south toward the wilderness region of Yala. In the afternoon, you embark on an exciting jeep safari in Yala National Park, home to elephants, crocodiles, deer, and leopards. The raw beauty of the landscape and wildlife encounters make this a memorable experience. Overnight near Yala.


Day 10 | Yala – Bentota (Beach Escape)  Distance: 200 km | Drive time: 4.5–5 hours

After breakfast, you journey along the southern coastal route to the beach town of Bentota. Upon arrival, the pace slows completely. The remainder of the day is free to relax on the beach, enjoy the ocean breeze, or simply unwind at your resort. Overnight in Bentota.


Day 11 | Bentota – Leisure & Wellness

A full day at leisure to enjoy Sri Lanka’s tropical coast. You may relax on the beach, take a gentle river safari through mangroves, or indulge in an Ayurvedic massage or yoga session. The day is designed for rest and reflection, offering a perfect balance after the journey through culture, spirituality, and wildlife. Overnight in Bentota.


Day 12 | Bentota – Colombo Airport (Departure)  Distance: 110 km | Drive time: 2–2.5 hours

Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel check-out time 1100 hour. In time transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport in time for your onward flight, carrying with you memories of ancient cities, spiritual encounters, warm village smiles, lush landscapes, and peaceful beaches — a complete and meaningful Sri Lankan experience.
